Good to know: we don’t make or sell gifts. We help you find personalised and made-to-order gifts from independent sellers on Amazon.co.uk (including Amazon Handmade) and Etsy — the seller makes and delivers it.

Six ways to make it theirs

Engraved, embroidered, printed… what’s the difference?

Each kind of personalisation suits different materials and needs different checks before you order. Start with the one that fits.

  • Engraved

Words or a design cut or marked into wood, glass, metal, slate or leather — permanent, and it won’t wash off.

  • Embroidered

Names, initials and motifs stitched in thread on towels, robes, blankets, bags and cushions.

  • Printed

Names, photos, maps and designs printed onto paper, fabric, mugs, puzzles and more — the most flexible kind of personalisation.

  • Hand-made

Made by hand by an independent maker — pottery, carved wood, leather, knitting and silversmithing — so each piece is a little different.

  • Illustrated

Drawn or painted for you by an illustrator — pet portraits, house portraits, family portraits and wedding venues.

  • Monogrammed

Initials — embroidered, engraved, debossed or printed — for a classic, understated finish on leather, linen, shirts and jewellery.

What this site is (and isn’t)

Bespoke Gifting Company is a gift-idea finder. We don’t have a workshop, a shop or a warehouse. Every idea here is a type of personalised gift that independent sellers make to order. We describe it in our own words, explain what to check, and link to searches on Amazon.co.uk and Etsy so you can compare sellers yourself.

Prices, delivery times and personalisation options belong to each seller and change often, so we don’t show them — always check the listing.
